Guest Speaker: Megan Higgins, Coastal Policy Analyst overseeing habitat restoration activities at the R.I. Coastal Resources Management Council. She is the Chair of the Rhode Island Habitat Restoration Team and oversees the state's Coastal and Estuary Habitat Restoration Program and Trust Fund, a $250,000 grant program for coastal and estuarine restoration projects (the topic of her presentation). Megan joined the Policy Division of CRMC in May 2002. She holds an M.A. in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law.

Directions: From I-95N or I-95S take T.F. Green Airport exit to Post Road (Route 1) and take left onto Post Road at traffic light. Right at traffic light onto Airport Road (Bickfords and Mobile Station at intersection). Right at traffic light onto Warwick Avenue (Route 117). Proceed 1.7 miles on Warwick Avenue to fork in road near Stop and Shop and at traffic light take right fork (Oakland Beach Avenue). Proceed to next traffic light and go straight staying on Oakland Beach Avenue 0.9 mile to Suburban Parkway. Left onto Suburban Parkway (follow sign to Public Boat Ramp) and restaurant is at end of the street.
